These were all taken the same day at the pumpkin patch. The Turkey's were just fun to photograph.
I have absolutely no idea how this will do. I hope it does well but then I suppose everyone who submits one hopes that.
Here we go Mr. update button.....
Edits were done in lightroom raw then exported to photoshop where they were combined into a triptych. Back into lightroom for some final edits and export as jpg with size settings. Back into photoshop for save for web to get the kb down to 200. I seem to get more accuracy and right up to the limit doing it that way.

comments I'm getting right now are about how the photos don't go together well but I want to explain it (granted no one will see it 'til the voting is over). If you look at the shape of the turkey's head and the shape of the tire those two are tied together in that way. The color red ties the turkey and the tire. The color green ties the tire and the corn husk even though the green in the corn husk isn't prominent, it is there. The wheat (or whatever it is) in front of the tire has a disorganized shape as does the corn husk. The golden color is in all three even though it is a little subdued in the one with the tire. All three are taken from near the ground and all three "live" on the ground. Thus the title 'down' on the farm. I think they go together quite well but I guess that's just me.... oh well.
Yay I got a ribbon. The posthumous red. What a great honor! |

I had no problem with these "going together" at all - I thought it worked just fine!! It was one of my 7's - I quite enjoy the shot. Nicely seen and I love the top shot of the turkey. Oh! Just saw that you got the Posthumous Red! CONGRATS!! :-) |

Interesting image. You've done some things here that are a bit unusual. You've combined bright colored images of the turkey head and wheel, with a natural tan shot of the corn. Not sure the small borders help. Much of the top pane is OOF due to shallow DOF and includes much more than is needed above the turkey head. |

The saturation seems a little harsh on the wheel, and all the red in the first two photos makes me almost wish there's red in the last one... but I love the expression of that bird! Too funny... he must suspect thanksgiving is coming! |

The top shot is awesome. I can't say I'm nearly as sold on the other two. |
