 For those who are interested this is the original.
Cardboard frame, cut badly lol, hung in front of a light tent.
Strobe in the light tent to achieve backlighting.
One softbox strobe mounted directly above the camera position and finally one son placed in the frame.

I got the one in the pic off ebay for about £50
