Gerry, I think you made a typo. It's "Deep DOF, not Shallow DOF". Still, you did really well considering ;)
I must have liked this one as I didn't give you a 1. You should try this again at twilight for the slow shutter approach to the waves. |

When the horizon line is one third from the top ,it's a classic "RULE oF THIRDS" .
Also , it's a "DEEP DOF" than "SHALLOW DOF" |

Voting as if you'd said "deep DOF" |

I think you actually captured a deep DOF. Your rocks in the background still have alot of detail. Stunning photo anyways. |

Great photo, and I can see the centered composition and leading lines, however this is more of a Deep DOF than a shallow one to me. I will assume that you meant Deep DOF and will score it accordingly. Good luck. |

This really doesn't look like shallow depth of field. My eyes are lousy, but looks pretty deep to me. (but then again, I don't focus well on small things.) |

Gorgeous photo but doesn't really show "shallow DOF". |

Not very shallow, but deep DOF will do ;-)
Very nice one! Lots of depth and very strong leading line. It sucks you right in. Welldone! |

don't see how this is shallow DOF (might be your intense sharpening) |

Centered Composition, check. Leading Lines, not so much for me, but implied. Shallow DOF, no way. This is sharp from infinity right up to the very foreground. Did ya type the wrong one in? |

Beautiful photo, but looks more like a Deep DOP to me. A little over sharpened or dodged on the middle rocks I feel. Still I love the shot. 8 |
