 I know this is not the real purpose of the challenge, but this is colorful foliage, and it is Fall here in Florida, even if it doesn't feel like it, so why shouldn't I participate too? :)

I don't know where all that blue came from. I didn't manufacture it. It must have had something to do with the mid-day light and shadows.

Adjusted highlights/shadows and exposure (boosting gamma a little); sharpened; reduced noise; boosted the saturation a little; burned one leaf; added border; resized; saved for web.

I really like the abstract feel to this. The way you filled the frame made the shot for me. I guess I was in the minority as your lone 8, but there is always the possiblity that we are right and they are wrong :)

Those spotted leaves give this image a nice abstract touch and creates quite a visual impact. At first glance I thought it was spattered paint.

I really like the variegated leaves here. Nice variety of colors as well, ranging from indigo to yellow and orange. You've also got a few different patterns on the leaves too.
