My aim here was to use the barrel distortion from the wide angle lens to lead the eye down the waterfall and out to the left - giving an nice angle to the top left of the shot, but keeping the lower right side free from tilt.

This photo was taken on the "Wentworth Falls Loop" hike, about 2 hours in. It's a shot of Princes Falls, one of the many small waterfalls fed by Wentworth Falls. There's dozens of beautiful waterfalls like this one in the area, so if you're not afraid of a bit of hiking I definitely recommend it. The Wentworth Loop hike is about 10 kms all told, with around 1010 vertical metres of climbing. Here's some info on the various trails in the area for those interested:

For those unfamiliar with Wentworth Falls, here's a shot of (most) of the main waterfall:

And to help put it into scale, here's a zoom in on the top 5% of so of that shot:

Seeing as I'm in high running for "most unfit human being worldwide", undertaking this reasonable hike in 36 degree heat with 20 kilo of camera gear wasn't what you'd call a smart move. But I suppose it was better than waiting for summer to come along, where 46+ isn't uncommon (that's 115+ Fahrenheit for our imperial friends). If I had the stamina would have gone back there every day and (hopefully) taken a shot on a day that wasn't windy (note the blurred greenery on the right), but as it was this hike nearly killed me!

This is the first time I've ever posted up a shot on DPC, so I'm just hoping for anything in the top 50%. There's some blurring in foliage, a hint of lens flare at the very top-centre, and a touch out of focus at the base of the waterfall on the left. Feel free to offer any further criticism or comments on how to improve!

Editing: Levels, USM, crop/rotate/resize & border.

This waterfall needs a circular polarizer. It would take all the glare off the water on the rocks.

I don't see this image as tilted. A bit off balance but it's not tilted enough to meet this type of challenge. Pity, as the location could have been used to great advantage for this challenge.
