| This looks a little flat, I'm guessing as a result of front on lighting. I think also with the background, it's too dark while still containing details. If it was totally black, or if there was a more visible background that added something, I think that would be better than the partial darkness that you have. |

Superb botany shot that also effectively captures the life of this gorgeous flower. If only the illustrations in books were so good. Lovely portrayal of the diffused light found in the shade where rhodies do so well. I appreciate the combination of soft shadows and crisp detail. The little hits of yellow are delightful. And it's so clean! |
