This peacock lives in our neighborhood and he visits occasionally. Yesterday's visit was bad timing on his part as I was in the process of repainting my decking and had just planted some seedlings.
Here he is standing on the fresh paint, it had just dried enough for him not to leave a mark. My son covered the seedlings just in case he thought they were for him.
The placing of focus was deliberate.

This is what a lensbaby does best! This is MARVELOUS! And the colors, so rich and deep and purple and magical, especially with the peacock. Nice of you to paint your deck a color that goes so well with him, seeing as how he likes to visit. AND he's headless. Just too cool for school!

Well if this isn't one of the coolest lb shots I have seen in awhile! Nice! He/she is indoors?

how cool and I like that fact that he doesn't have a head, you but your thoughts in your photo.

How cool to have a neighborhood peacock that makes house calls! I like how the sweet spot is not where we would expect it.

I love this. Lovely bright colours. The placing of focus is perfect. The blurring of the peacocks head and the way it tapers off almost turns it into some sort of mythical creature. Fantastic photograph. I'd love to see a whole series of animal images taken in this way. Wish i had a peacock in my neighborhood!

I like blur effect which makes it appear the peacock's head disappear with the your placement of focus. Colors are nice.
