It's good to "miss" focus with a LB, it ends up showing you all sorts of things you wouldn't have noticed otherwise. |

Gorgeous tones, fabulous composition. Works really well with the LB. |

Wonderful image. Like the light colored starfish contrasted by the nice browns of the deck. Also like the diagonal lines of the deck. Very well presented. |

Great wood tones and the starfish out of focus is fine, good sense of movement here i fell. |

This shot keeps my interest the more I look at it. Love the rich wood tones, and the way the LB blurs leads my eye to the tip of the star! |

No such thing as "focus missed" with a lensbaby. Sometimes you accidentally get something IN focus. I like the way this looks just as is. |

I'm just getting an early look at some of what's been posted for the LB challenge and the thumbnail for this caught my eye from the forum thread. Haven't determined what path you're taking yet, or if you have a theme - but this shot is a thinker for me. Can't decide if I like it or not now that I've seen it full-size. Part of me wishes the focal point had hit the star somewhat, but the abstract feel of the "miss" is unique as well. Hmmm... |
