This whole experience has been SO taxing. I feel like I've lost myself in it.

We decided to put our home on the market around December 28th - it took SO LONG for someone to buy it - I know why...

We hadn't realised where we were supposed to be moving to - and once we did, the universe found us a buyer immediately - but before that, it was SO difficult, week after week after week after week, cleaning our home, having it pristine and ready for people to come and fall in love with it.

It was like a young me, getting ready for a date week after week and my suitor never bothering to show up.

EXHAUSTING.

And yes - please forgive the pun - draining!

Well, hopefully your troubles go away down the drain. Cool shot.

Lovely B/W toning here with a simple, yet very effective subject. Well seen and captured!

It has so much movement. When I look at this I feel as though I'm spilling over the lip and running into the drain.

Great shot. Makes my eyes go a bit funny looking at it for too long though!

This is almost hypnotic. And then I am focused on the drain grate, and wonder...

I think selling a house is a hundred time worse than buying one...the constant in and out of strangers drove me nuts. And what drove me really crazy were the people who weren't interested in buying our particular house but just wanted to look for fun. The house I used to live in was 200+ years old and nicely restored. I felt like charging admission.

I've enjoyed the peeks you've given us of your home...so chic yet cozy! I look forward to seeing more of the new place.

Perfect subject/focal point for a lensbaby shot, the LB blur helps give the effect that the whole pic is going down the drain.
