AWESOME SHOT! I feel your pain for no telephoto but you got a pretty nice shot with the lensbaby, pretty sharp! Plus, you got to see something amazing that you don't see very often if ever! So cool! |

Such a great catch! Nice that you got the focus right on the action.
I'm not usually one to go and make processing suggestions - but if I may in this case - I'd crop a lot of this photo away to draw the attention to your outstanding capture of the bird. |

What an amazing capture, especially so with the lensbaby. Impressive!
Hope it was quick for the squirrel.

Great catch for both of you! Nice focus on the bird and the (poor) squirrel.
It would have been great if the movement in the grass was in the same direction as the bird is flying, but I really don't know if that's possible with a lensbaby from your position. |

Yikes. Poor squirrel! Edit to add that you did a damn fine job of getting them in the sweet spot! I can't ever get anything actually in focus on purpose.

Wow! Seems to be a good fit for a lensbaby - the blur really adds to the notion of speed here. |

Great instinctive shot! Can only do this when you're comfortable with your equipment, especially with bending the LB around. I'm jealous! :-) |
