 Yeah! I really had to look for this illuminating chess pieces at a mall here in the Philippines just for this challenge.

Set-up:
I placed the chessboard on a glass top-side table for the reflections, a black illustration board for the background. In total darkness, I set my shutter speed at 30s initially before settling with 15s, f/11, ISO 400. Then I illuminated the pieces using a small penlight.

PP: color adjustment, unsharp mask, cropping and borders via Adobe Lightroom/CS3.

Classy shot! I'm not a fan of the border, maybe because of its black sides, i think the top and the bottom would be enough! The light is great! You did a nice job there!
