| this picture is one of those that just speaks to me... it goes beyond the snapshot composition that you see alot of here... it really converys something that everyone can relate to, either being the child taking the first steps, or as the parent watching the child walk away. the expression is terrific, and the mother is well placed. it's nice that the mother is slightly out of focus, to convey how the child is slowly becoming independent and moving farther away. an excellent picture! |

| lovely kid, beautiful eyes. Not my first choice for the challenge "choices", but it's a nice picture. |
