Looks like an interesting subject, but it would be nice if you could move in a bit closer, and really get some nice sharp focus.

This image comes off to me very soft, with near-blown highlights in places. I don't think this particular photo has the makings of a killer entry, but I do think some careful adjustments (such as levels, curves, contrast, sharpening) could help crank it up a notch.

Very soft focus. You may also find a polerising filter is useful to remove the reflections.

Good concept and subject. I really like the composition here. I think this could improve by using a polarizing filter to cut the glare from the water. I like how you combined a bug and a leaf in the shot. Sorta serendipitous.
