Yeah, at first I thought the train signal lights went with my title, but I suppose they are rather distracting. I really didn't have much of a choice though, this is taken out of a broken window on the third story of an abandoned building. I had to climb up some old metal boxes to reach the window and I snapped the picture though there.

There is no star filter, it's just shot at a small aperture opening. Thanks for looking

Nice night cityscape. The traffic signal in the front is not adding anything, it is actually ditracting IMO.

Nice, but what's the focal point? My eyes are having trouble finding a place to rest -- signals, skyline, tracks and traffic are all competing for my attention (but none of them in a particularly compelling way).

I like the star artifacts around the lights. Star filter or just stopped down lens artifact?

I do like the long exposure and everything about the cityscape, including a nice composition with the train tracks that draw you right in the frame but that thing at the top left is rather distracting, at least in my opinion.

I have a hard time with these night shots...for me if you do a night shot it needs to be super sharp and clear (unless there is fog). Did you handhold this?

Nice city scene and I like your use of aperture to make the lights look like stars. I don't like the traffic lights in the foreground on that metal support, it really takes away from the photo.

Is this Chicago? Interesting view, but the light fixtures are kinda distracting from the shyline
