I cut out 42 black paper plates total. I tried to make the cuts a clean circular shape but it rarely came out that way - close but not a machine cut clean. Tis will just have to do. And thanks again to my husband for coming up with the perfect title.

I had done another photo shoot with balloons - spent 30 minutes sticking 'dots' to 3 balloons. And I have to tell you I now am absolutely not a fan of doing an indoor shoot with frickin' balloons - they would twist, turn or move such that they were not tack sharp or 'positioned' just right.

Thank you everyone for all the nice comments/critiques and the votes! My thanks to my eldest daughter for being a great model. Just one thing to note is that of the 40 photos I took this one was a casual moment caught when she was scrapping her shoe on the floor. I told her we were taking a break for a few minutes. I saw what she was doing and her pose and quickly picked up my camera and snapped the shot. It looks far better than any of the posed shots which look forced and not naturally relaxed.

This picture would have been my favorite in the group except for two things. First the pluses...Superb model. The right age and shape with a great pose. Photo quality is perfect and focus is good.
My minor retractions...the sandal tweaked out from the foot draws too much attention and the heavily patterned umbrella is in my humble opinion much too busy for the head scarf and shirt. still a pretty nice capture. 7

well you certainly have enough dots. Nice bw conversion the models skin looks lovely. I might have tried having her hold the umbrella a little be more around to evenly frame her face more.
