What a great title for an interesting picture! Melethia is right, there is something nostalgic about this photo.

I love this one :-) I gave it a 7, the title says it all: "centrifugal", indeed...

Nice painterly effect. The powerline is distracting a bit.

Interesting shot. I like the soft feel it gives, and I would of enjoyed it much more if the electircal/telephone wire wasn't going through - IMO it splits the picture. But overall, I like it. 7

Not blurry enough (or in the right way) to be an intersting abstract. As such, it needs a static object to provide context or just visual relief.

Hmm ... not sure what you're going for, what you're trying to tell me through the photo. Colors are good, the blurred focus contributes energy.

Very krnodil-y and quite nostalgic on my part - my very first challenge entry featured a windmill and power lines. It wasn't nearly this creatively done, however!

ok since this was an advanced editing challenge I think I would have edited the powerlines out...ya, ya...I'm one of those...for me they distract away from a very beautiful picture

OK, I'm going through the Free Study submissions, purposefully finding those images I think are shot with a less conventional eye - this is one of those images! Thanks for offering something that isn't just DPC friendly eye-candy (though of course there's nothing wrong with eye-candy). I'll be picking one of these images for the Mu (most underrated) award:

Positives: Wonderful use of blur here - the handling is a great match for this composition and colouring too. The aspect ratio works really well and I think you have nailed the composition too.

Critical stuff: Nothing at all

Overall: A great image which really hangs together well.
