The Image: We were leaving Burauen, Philippines for the day when a torrential downpour came. We saw these girls as we were driving and I asked the driver to back up. The girls were shy but loved having their photos taken. I got a few good ones. These were actually taken with my daughter's D60 with the standard 18-55 VR lens. I didn't have my D300 with me otherwise I would have pulled out the 50mm 1.8 and got a great shot.

The Edit: I tried to edit this late at night on my little netbook...the edit is really, really bad as I saw once I got home. OUCH! The voting shows it's not so good.

A colorful example. It almost looks like you took this photo through glass or maybe it was actually raining.

This reminds me of a Librodo capture. Strong use of the child's emotions. very heartwarming. Nice 7

Nice portraits, but it lacks a strong connection to the polka dot theme. The eye is drawn to the great expressions, and only two of three kids are sporting the challenge theme.

polka dot with umbrella and smiles like these are priceless and rare... you cannot set this up, one must catch this moment in perfect timing. i love this!

Nice shot, you need to take a bit more care when you are burning and diffusing the back ground as you missed some spots.
