I am in a chronic black and white phase right now but I forced myself to try to use color again. I love the way this turned out. It is kind of a classic for me, but I really pushed myself during this shoot to step outside my comfort zones. I lit this with direct sunlight coming from behind her and a small flash with umbrella lighting her face.

I am not entirely sure. She is very pale so that helped because her skin tone was in a good range for this kind of look. I never actually desaturated much with this photo, I just adjusted the color balance so it maintained color in her clothing and background.

Very professional; love the use of lens flare as a hair ornament, too.

Lovely model. Good detail in things that should be detailed. Maybe a little too smooth on the skin for my taste, unless of course she really has flawless skin. . Shooting into the sun was an interesting choice. I actually like it and the resulting lens flairs. Nice photo. Thanks.

Not sure about the lens flares, but love the softness. She looks like a very young Cher, but prettier.

Beautiful! I would be tempted to crop from just below her shoulder down

Great lighting... the lens flare actually adds to the image in my opinion.
