Sweet! I caught a nixter and a posthumous. (and a Deb) and all the others! Thanks! This was a bridal/fun shoot with a friend. I shot her wedding pics just a week later.

Thanks Paul for your nice comment!

What an awesome shot Mark, I love the lighting, makes her look like an angel

Back again. The light is amazing. Ghostly image, at times peaceful, but there is also a nervous tension.

It's almost feels as though the piano and the bride were floating a few Centimeters above the floor...
I love the theatrical lighting!

Not your usual wedding shot but I'm almost hoping that's not what it is - it's a bit too sad to be a wedding shot. Light is excellent, and I like how the stage/setting is almost personified with the two "eyes" at the top watching her.

The reflection of the woman in the back adds a nice touch to this.

Lovely and aptly titled! A sad solo performer w/o an audience. Bittersweet.

OK, I'm going through the Free Study submissions, purposefully finding those images I think are shot with a less conventional eye - this is one of those images! Thanks for offering something that isn't just DPC friendly eye-candy (though of course there's nothing wrong with eye-candy). I'll be picking one of these images for the Mu (most underrated) award:

Positives: Very mysterious (that comment was typed by my 8 year old while I was making tea and I couldn't have put it better myself). Though I will add 'Wow!' look at the distant reflection - fantastic. The lighting here is sensational - as shot or augmented with something like Viveza or Sliver Efex Pro using control points? I'm a fan of the deep piano shadow too.

Critical stuff: Nothing at all.

Overall: Artistically and technically, a very impressive image.

I would have preferred her to be facing you (her body)
