Love this image and I think you've been hard done by with the voters. Love the duotone treatment you've applied and the details in the image. A MUAIMHO from me for this.

the centered composition doesn't work well for me here and the really shallow DOF is a little too much for my taste

Concept is good but with the lack of color I find it a little difficult to define what the young actually is. Good shot all the same.
