I'm normally embarrassed for the photographer that takes photos of little statue type things found around the house, but this is an exception. It's a story everyone knows, so you can get away with your choice of DOF. Your DOF choice fits the scene well. |

good use of dof to isolate the figures. Better focus and better lighting would have helped the shot. White blotches and the column on the right going above the head are distracting elements of the shot. |

I like the selective focus and the composition. And I love the picture. But it's not really about extreme close-up, IMO. Voting a 5 anyway. |

I really like your background, the baby Jesus IMO should have a little more of a focus field....down to his toes...this is an excellent picture... |

I like the idea here, but I find that my attention is pulled away from what should be the focal point to the overwhelmingly busy out of focus. |

I think a little less blurring in the foreground would have been good. It's a neat idea though. |
