best idea i could come up with. applied gradient map to get the monochrome, slightly tweaked the curves, and c'est tout. didn't use neatimage (shock!)

I like the ominous nature of this image. As if a lot is dependent on the outcome. The mood is quite dramatic. The soft focus adds to the drama.

outstanding lighting! of all the coin photos in the contest, this one really tops them all. the shadows are great and the black background really makes everything stand out. 10

not so much a choice as a chance....pictorially it would have been more appealing if the coin was in mid air
