 3 weeks old. I think she just might be a redhead. I can't figure out the eye color yet though. They might be a blueish green. Any suggestions on propping? I can't seem to get her so she has her head up and doesn't flip over. And if I put her on her back her head is always sideways. LOL!

Well her eyes are open & that's a start. Babies are a challenge, they never stop moving (unless they're sleeping). She's going to be red-haired & also a great photog (look at that skeptical eye!).

Beautiful bub! For suggestions on a "pose" .. it can be uncomfortable for bub if you don't get it right.. but cradleing her head in your palm and having the rest of her body wrap over your arms stomach down or stomach facing camera seems to work.. I'll try to dig out the shot I"m thinking of and pm it to you :S

Yep, looking like she may indeed be a redhead! I've got no suggestions for shooting babies... I haven't ever done that sort of thing. You may want to send a note off to mk or idnic - they both do lots of kids.

She is so beautiful! I did a similar portrait with my baby girl @ 4 weeks , I used some of her blankets. I have also used her boppy and sometimes I just put her on her crib and turn on the carrousel. As they start getting more control of their head, I think I gets a bit easier to take their picture ;)

Wonderful photo! First impression: looking at the fingers she wants to press a camera button. Perhaps there should be a little more light on the face, but the expression is fabulous.
