| The red is nice and I like the rainbow wings and the fly does seem to be as well focused as your camera probably would allow. I see the problem as coming from the leaf. It makes it look as if the picture had been cropped too much or you used the digital part of the zoom function. Whatever happened, the leaf looks lumpy and bumpy from causes not from the texture of the leaf itself. |

It looks a bit pixelized and out of focus, nice composition though.

| Maybe not the best candidate for this challenge, the focus is fuzzy and the colors, though well highlighted, don't pop the way many of the other entries do. Shows a good hand with desat, but need to pick a more effective photo. |

| Just a bit too noisy/grainy for my taste...which doesn't mean I don't like grain, it just doesn't seem to work well for this image. It looks like a very tight crop of a much larger picture. A bit too fuzzy as well. |
