 Pic from the end of summer. I was driving in the rural part of the state and came across a lot with dozens of farm machinery. I stopped and talked to a mechanic working on one of the behemoths and found that this was a large commercial farm operation (what do I know, I'm a city kid.) Loved the colors and got permission to take pics.

Shot w/ D300 and 12-24mm zm. Straight out of the cam.

Not a tractor, that's a combine or harvester, used for harvesting grain & corn. That's a cool quarter of a million dollar machine.

I like the perspective you have of the long line of combines. It is really amazing to watch these things in action as they are staggered across a field and harvesting the grains.
