 This old fire truck - about 50 years old - belongs to the guy we get gas from. He has just bought it and plans on painting it and putting it back into emergency service around his rural gas depot, if the need arises. At the moment it runs just fine and it only needs cosmetic alterations. Personally I think it looks brilliant as it is. I think I ruined this with the border, but I didn't save it without, apart from a stage so much earlier that it would be too much like hard work to go back and redo.

After spending a ridiculous amount of time on isolating the truck from most of its surroundings I added a fire shot and a grungy wood fired heater window shot.

I love the deep orange, it is very effective for the subject matter!

Oh, fabulous.

The border fits, imo. It could be the 'smoke' from the fire,
or 'steam' from the effort to put it out.
Whatever, it definitely adds to the story here, which is
EXCELLENT!

I hopeyou show this to the guy who owns it. If so, tell us
his reaction!
