 This was my best shot of my first studio session with the new 300D. I bought a fake velvet rose at Hobby Lobby, set it in a tall vase, grabbed my tripod and a heavy duty flashlight, and went to town.

Post processing includes resize, median adjustment, and some stray hairs cloned out.

Beautiful shot. I love how the petals make a heart shape in the middle. I wouldn't change a thing.
