I should have known this was yours. You have a way of cropping in an unusual way and it is just so artful. You depicted bored in a terrific and unexpected way, Nick. Way to go!! |

Excellent, scored this well. That empty stool in the background really sells the mood for me. Tired of waiting. |

At first glance I didn't like the top border sort of merging with her head but, on looking longer, I think exactly that makes the whole thing more "artsy". Very good b/w. |

Nice grain, probably the border is a bit much, but good choice for b&w |

I would really like to hear why you put this border onto an otherwise excellent image. To me it looks like your subject is wearing a very wide hat. |

I wasn't sure what to think about this and kept coming back to it to get a feel for what the author was trying to convey. It doesn't seem to me that the subject is bored - it comes across more as merely killing time or listening to instructions. It is technically an excellant conversion though - artistically sound. A good solid capture. |

I liked this photo, but why the borders? Wouldn't a frame work better? |

very good centered composition, the cropping is also very well done, the extra chair was a bit of a distraction, nonetheless a 10 for me. |

This is an image deserving a ribbon. Not just for the guts you've got to break so many "rules" (i.e. cut off head and feet, centred composition, massive borders), but for doing it AND still producing a masterpiece such as this. This is wonderful. Originally gave it an 8 when I made my voting pass, but I'm bumping it to a 9. Well done. |
