It still makes me laugh. Pity you scored so low. People don't know how to appreciate good humor in here *frown at people without sense of humor*

Deffinitly an unwise choice of picture to use in this challenge. The doll is already the main subject and stands out like a lighthouse on fire. All the mechanical items around it are unrecognizable as to what they are- boom box, open printer etc - so desaturating these items does not enhance the picture since the viewer can't recognize that colors are missing.

Well, we won`t be able to say that you picked an overly used subject matter! So Ernie is a print head surfer, eh? Never knew that. Thanks for making me laugh.

Now there's something you don't see every day...very unique. Desat would work for me better if the colored tabs under Ernie's rump were in B&W. :o)

very nice but I don't think it works very well. The surrounding area isn't coloured so converting to greyscale makes no difference.

Incidentally, did you convert the background to grey? Around the buttons there looks like some colour left over.
