I see that this photo has been validated but can't imagine why it was questioned? However, I do not see how this meets the hate challenge?

This photo doesn't convey hate to me ... except for you "shoehorn" title, of course. Still, it's a great photo and I gave it a good score ...

really interesting angle with an interesting use of dof, I would have liked to have seen it slightly bigger to cover more of the snail but i guess you needed the fast shutter speed maybe a ring flash would have helped.

Lost a great deal on the compression, the noise and artefacts are very visible.

only a question: if you see this photograph, you can see the hate represented? i do not see it... so, good shot, but not in theme with the challenge subject... everything IMHO! ;-)
