 A duck ... not very exciting, I know. But it is a wild bird shot in the wild (Virginia Water Lake just outside London) for this challenge. And he looks quite handsome, with colors glowing in late afternoon sun set against a portrait-like backdrop of ice. I'll probably get hammered, even DNMC'd, because it's less of a portrait in the purest sense than an action shot. Oh well. :)

I'm never sure if I like the motion of a slower shutter on BIF shots. Personally I feel this would have benefited from a faster shutter, but still a nice shot - focus is good if a bit soft (probably more post processing than the shot)
