 Cropped altered contrast slightly, removed part of an old cobweb bottom left and lightly ran through neatimage. This pied wagtail was on a fence some 20 feet from me, the bg is a water hazard on a golf course.

Love the choice of shallow DOF, and the way it makes blurry horizontal stripes of the background. Composition of frame/ pose of the bird work well too.

A little too much diffused space and a little too little detail in bird and pole for me. A 5.

Excellent composition. Would have made it a great image if the bird had sharper focus - especially around the eye.

Nice capture of the "pied wagtail"..the shallow DOF makes a perfect neutral background for the image. Would be interested to know if this was achieved with the camera or post processing as I have found it extremely difficult to achieve such a blurred effect with my camera setting of 2.8
