 Taken at Lasalle Park, in Burlington On.
I think I got a bit lucky on this shot.This young Redtail is quite used to people, as he frequents a busy park with lots of traffic, didn't seem to mind us photogs, and actually flew towards me as I was shooting. Very ususual for these birds.

I'll have to take your word for it that is a wild bird, and my vote has to based on that fact. As a true wildlife photo this is incredible. A quibble though, and I feel worth revisiting the edit - there is some obvious haloing around the top of the hawk's head.

Very nice, I want to know more! The image is exposed wonderfully, even if the little white feathers under the wing are blown out. The shutter speed is perfect, and the bird is clearly looking at the camera. Well done.
