Great hoarfrost picture. I'm not sure I've ever seen it quite so spikey. The only thing I could recommend is maybe getting more up close and personal with it, but this is still an interesting shot. |

edited to complete the thought:
Sorry about the mystery letter, which appears to have been an inadvertent slip of the fingers.
The spikes of frost make this look at first glance like a cactus in winter. Interesting to have a bit of residual green along with the muted red. The composition seems a bit static dead center. A shift of position to put the branch more toward the diagonal might lend a more dynamic feeling (but I don't know what you had to work with).

This is so detailed that you can see the individual frost spikes on it and the branch. Although the leaf is largely brown and dead there still yet is a small touch of the summer green about it. Beautiful capture. |

The clarity and colour of this piece is nice. The dramatic appeal is only slight however. Still well captured. |
