 Nothing fancy. Had my P & S over at my parents shooting the vultures flying over head. Was hoping to see the bald eagle that my parents said had been hanging out eating the dead fish from their pond. But all I saw was vultures. Did not know this challenge was going on at the time until Dec 27th and I figured what the hey. It has been a while. I had a couple of shots. My 13 year old son picked this one because he liked how the vulture seemed to be looking at you. I have to agree with. It is kinda of neat how the vulture is looking right at you. You wonder what it is thinking. Hmmmmmm?

Nice, but I think it would have been better if you had overexposed it a bit to bring out the details in the dark underside. Spot metering would help for that. Also, the face is a little blurry.

Like the composition and eye contact. Maybe a bit darker on the face and body than I'd like but looks like the top of his head was in bright sun which makes the exposure tough.
