Very nice. I assume this was taken near the Conowingo Dam? Is there a good viewing area up there? I live in Bel Air and have honestly never explored Conowingo photographically. I'm thinking that I should probably do it. |

A wild bird? You can get very close in your neck of the woods! For a photo of a wild bird tis is incredible, and fairly impressive of a captive one too. |

Extraordinary detail. Think I would have cropped out the few OOF bits in the foreground. |

I don't think you would lose anything by cropping the distracting foreground blur. I think I'd go for more of a square and crop some of the sky too. Great capture and very nice detail. |

I'd love to see the lens that captured this awesome shot! Or you were very lucky and the bird let you get real close, hehe One of the best of the challenge. |

Nice shot... I will score as though this is a wild bird, however, I would really like to see a context shot here, as there is no way for us to verify that this isn't tethered to a post.
Are you the Zohar? If not, you have pleased the Zohar! (See forum for more information) |

Great clarity and crispness. Nice work on getting such a deep DOF. What an incredible capture for being in the wild. |
