So yes, this is candid. From one of my proposal shoots at 9am on Christmas Eve. Yes, the cropping isn't perfect, but it was 24 degrees out, and I was trying to be subtle AND catch her expressions AND have them be in focus. It happens very quickly, so the composition of the shot sometimes suffers to get the reaction in the face. There was a shot that was better composed, but didn't show the surprise in her face. I chose that first "oh my goodness!" moment over good composition. Oh well.

"I've fallen and I can't get up"? :P j/k - a great scene, well done on focus and exposure. Crop/framing is not where I'd prefer, but nice job. |
