nice find. the land is a bit distracting for me. I think a crop just below the reflective wet sand at the top would make this stronger and create a nice S shape IMHO

Cool idea and nice starfish! I could be very wrong here but it looks as though you might have lit this shot with a flash from the sand, I just can't figure out where the light is coming from in relation to the shadows - I've been staring at it for about 10 minutes! :) I also think this shot may have benefited from a square crop, the horizon is a bit featureless and doesn't add all that much.

Nice fun image on teh beach. The colours are nice though the near-center composition is a bit distracting for me.
