Nicely composed, very effective to show off all those wonderful rectangles. I hope this is doing well for you. |

OK, I'm going through the Free Study submissions, purposefully finding those images I think are shot with a less conventional eye - this is one of those images! Thanks for offering something that isn't just DPC friendly eye-candy (though of course there's nothing wrong with eye-candy). I'll be picking one of these images for the Mu (most underrated) award:
Positives: I like the honesty of this shot and the effort you have gone to in preserving a frontal facade - we feel like we are just sliding past in a car (just like most people do I bet).
Critical stuff: I don't know if you have Photoshop but the lens correction tool would have allowed you to compensate for the perspective a little and bring it that final tad square.
Overall: Not the most naturally engaging of shots but one which makes us reflect on the world we pass by every day. |

Front perspective with distorted perception. I would have liked that adjusted so it was more square, specially with a straight on view. It is almost an interesting building it appears it might have some character hidden there but it does not give me enough brightness or colour. The depth of texture from the roof to the brick wall should be screaming at me and it does not. |

Nice urban decay-y shot, great building. Small point for improvement would be crop the building more tightly to leave out unimportant background details. |
