These really were my daughters eyes, I post processed them quite a bit, but that was the look I was going for. Not much was done to her actual eyes but her skin was smoothed out considerably. Here is the orginal photo as proof....

great idea, but the skin is way over-photoshopped

The skin looks too smooth and un-natural but it adds to the overall affect. Awesome picture.

The only detraction from this photo is the overprocessing that gives the skin a plasticky sheen, but other than that it's a truly beautiful shot. Very nice job!

Creative composition. I find that the over saturated appearing eyes do not work as well as a more natural colour would. The whites, to me, should be white, not blue.

I'm assuming you got a lot of comments on the post-processing, so I won't add to that. :^) I like the tight shot of the eyes, but the expression on the face makes me think you had your model staring into the sun for hours and hours. (ouch!) I might have tried for a tighter crop and maybe a more dramatic angle.

I think you may have used a little bit too much neat image, or just post processing in general, but great color in the eyes.

Real beautiful crystal eyes. She looks like a video game character, her skin has no texture. Since you were going for the textureless look, you could have also removed some of the lighter blotches around the eyes and smoothed the eyebrows a bit. I don't mean remove the eyebrows, just the whitish blotches around them. I am really hypnotized by those eyes. I like that you left the red in too, it adds life. Honestly, I don't know if I like this shot or not. I do know that it has had me spellbound for about 10 minutes now so I'm giving you an 9. Would be a ten but for the need to clean it up a little.

Looks like a lot of post proceessing on he face, almost too much.

oooh, that'll do I thihk you used the hue/saturation process. well you spilled into the white of the eye and gave it a blue tone. not good. The is great though. it almost works.

You need to start with a good picture for a challenge like this. The forehead and under the eyes are washed out and there is still other colors in the right eye.

Very nice, but the reflection in the irises are distracting, as are the stray eyebrow hairs...beautiful girl but she could use a wax for closeups like this. Lovely eye color. :o)
