What a lovely congregation! Looks like it was a reasonably nice day for a stroll, and for a bit of a fly in for the local flocks.

IMO, the foreground in shadow just kills this shot. Great gaggle of birds, but the wonderful light in the background just emphasizes its absence in the foregound. Not a whole bunch you could do about it, unless the birds were moving slowly away.
