1.std flip and blend using difference mode - horizontal, vertical, 90 degrees

2.auto levels, auto contrast, auto color

3.levels adjust, right slider in to 182; mask out corners

4.curves adjust, "lighter" preset

5. levels adjust, right slider in to 244

6. brightness +5; saturation +10

7.resize, sharpen, resize, save for web

The corner quadrants are especially interesting here; they are almost "real", they provide what amounts to an earthly anchor to a fantasy-world construct.

Now that turned out well. It has a fantasy feel to it, like Lord of the Rings.
