When I saw this spiral on a fence not far from Reykjavik I did not have Paul Simon´s music in mind. I found, however, this spiral visually attractive, especially with the narrow dept of field and the allmost white snow as a background. And when I “googled” his song titles and saw the title “Spiral Highway” on One Trick Pony… I knew I had to submit this image. I don´t know if this works for DPC viewers but I find it an interesting interpretation of the title.
Converted to BW in Lightroom, cropped, tonal adjustment, vignette, then exported to PS for levels, levels, frame, resize, sharpening and save for the web.
