Your critique as requested! (:b)

Oooh! Very interesting shot. The "One in 7 Billion" is presented very nicely here, with the rows of seats and soft-focus stained glass window above portraying many figures. I really like the entire feel of the image, but editing has done some strange things to the lighting on the wall. That can be easily fixed and is no compositional error. there is one however that really bothers me, the angle and crop. No matter how I look at this I can't get over the angle at which you took this. I love the detail on the person, the colors, the rows, that glass above, but I always disliked off-center church shots. As the entire building is very symmetrical, (I am assuming) I find it odd that you chose to stand off to the side in taking the picture. Also, the modern lights in the upper left and right take you out of the mood just a little. Changing your camera angle could have helped make the photo more interesting by leaving out those lights and getting in closer to the subject a bit. overall, great shot, there are just some compositional and technical errors that need to be fixed. otherwise, great idea, creativity, and coloring. 6/10

I like this a lot. It wouldve been nice for it to be straight. I can see you judged straight by the right side of the window, but it still looks crooked. Its always difficult (for me anyways) to decide where to base 'level' on.

Nice shot of a stained glass window, but the person gets kind of lost.

It was a blustery cold morning outside that day Sandra walked into the church for shelter. Sandra led a troubled life. Rejected and alone she struggled to raise her daughter well on a waitresses salary. She felt so helpless on this paricular morning. She was past due on the heating bill and they were threatening to stop fuel deliveries until the bill was paid. How was she going to keep her baby warm this first winter? While still lost in her despair she peeked into the hall of worship never expecting to behold such a beautiful sight. She was captured by that morning light shining through those colorful windows. She could not resist as she wheeled her daughter up the aisle and fell down beside her both knees on the ground, legs sprawled in an uncomfortable kneel. The feelings of isolation welled up inside of her and with tears streaming down her face she cried out, "My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me?" Not knowing where it came from she heard the inaudible voice speak to her heart. "Fear not my child, for I am with you. Let my grace be sufficient for you. For my power is made perfect in weakness." Then she heard no more. Her tears had stopped and she felt a subtle strength building inside of herself. She got up from her slumped position and turned to walk back outside continuing on her journey in the blustery cold morning when she heard the call of the deacon. He yelled out "Hello, What are you doing in here?" She tried to make herself invisible but could not. She told him who she was, barely able to withold the tears. He quickly found out what her story was and offered to give to her the money she needed to pay the heating bill. With warmth forming in her heart she accepted. She left that church on that cold blustery morning with a new found faith in a God she thought had abandoned her to the perils of this world. Hallelujiah, she thought. Praise the Lord! 10!

I'm not really sure what you are showing me. Whether it's the beautiful art in the huge window or the woman who is clearly on the way out.
