HI from the Critique Club
It is amusing that your camera functions as a door stop! It wasn't immediately clear to me that you were trying to portray this but now I clearly see it. Your title helps of course and it looks like all of the commentators caught your idea.
Technically, a couple comments come to mind. I'm not sure about the fuzzyness/blur on the left side of the frame. It gives your shot a bit of a Lensbaby look but I dont think it adds to the shot. White balance seems a touch warm, probably from your house lights.
I suspect a closer cropped shot of the camera while still including the door for context may have done slightly better. You received more 6's than 4's and that is the direction you want.
