 This is my young friend, Stori, just before she had a baby a few weeks ago. I loved her heart so much. She got pregnant "accidentally" with her long time boyfriend. But once she got pregnant, that baby completely changed her life for the better! She realized that her boyfriend was never going to be the husband and father material that her baby deserved, so she moved back home and began turning her life around -- big time! She asked me if I would do beautiful maternity pictures for her because she wanted to make sure that her child always knew that he was not a mistake, and that he was loved and wanted every single minute before he even arrived. She's going to be the best little mom, and I think her son, Nash, is a very lucky little boy!

very soft and creative. I am not a big fan of pregnancy portraits, but when they are done right I love. This one is one of those done right.

Lovely , Sandy- she must be very mature for her age...I wish them happiness. I often wish I had photos of myself when prego !!! I felt beautiful & I did not before...:)

beautiful! the story is perfect. the high key emulates the reason. if there is any photograph that can portray the goddess of maternity, you most definitely captured it here. fav++++

I just had to write you and tell you - my second, Cole, was almost a Nash. I couldn't think of a way to lengthen (Cole is short for Colton) and so I went with Cole but there are days I think he is a Nash :-)

What a fantastic memory - and you captured it elegantly and beautifully!

came back for another look ..
something that i really love about this is how she seems to be growing like a flower .. emerging or sprouting from the earth .. white earth but wotever .... that feeling goes so well when i consider the life growing within her and her own soul's journey .. growing .. evolving .. being the person she's meant to be .. how wonderful sandy .. :) and the white .. so pure ... when i think of someone who tries to be the best person she can be, like her, i think of purity .. :)

Beautifuly done, I love the way the white material drapes around her and fades into the background. She looks so serene, like an angel, a perfect look for a maternity shot.
