 Sign on the porch of the historic Dr. L. E. Griffith home, located on 1st Street in Terrell. The home was built in the mid 1800s and is still in good condition today. It's also occupied by the 7th generation of the Griffith family.

I sure hope that sign is just for the tourists with cameras and not a real threat... otherwise you are really brave to use a short lens like that!

Great shot Laurie! As you know I grew up in Fannin County in North Texas (2 counties north of Kaufman Co.) so I'm greatly looking forward to all your photos. I love the colors of this and the message is so typical of rural Texas!

I hope it's funny. The USA is a land of loonies to me, where imagining there's a law of trespass might be enough for someone to shoot you.

ps I just flipped back and saw 'Kaufman County' as your theme. Nice start. I think we should probably post the name of the theme along with the picture each week :)

Maybe they mean, there is a 'hidden camera', with focus pre-set :-).
