I like the way the sunlight is hitting his face. Look at the frost of his eye lashes!

I guess it gets him used to his future life in a freezer . . .

:- )

Nice capture though - you can feel the cold coming through the picture

Very nice shot! How long were you out there to get this capture?

Ohhhh I love this photo -- but I feel so sad for the poor baby. I took some pictures of a big fat longhorn today, and I felt so sorry for him because we're experiencing a very rare, VERY cold snap here in south Texas and it was in the low 30's with a damp wind. Now I don't feel quite so sad for our cows. I hope he'll be okay. Were there other cows around somewhere that he could snuggle up with?

I'm totally in love. I asked my husband today "Why don't they freeze?"

Even without your telling us the temperature this one conveyed winter and cold very well. The snow on the fur is really nice, especially that fine linear pattern on his side. I like the pattern of the cut off plants. If you have the time and inclination you should clone out the barbed wire -- this will take it up another few notches. Nicely done!
