Mini Grand Prix in Greenville TX on June 19, 2004. It was a fund raiser for the local Lion's Club. My first attempt at racing shots...glad it was go-karts, because I don't know if I could handle the real thing! This was so much fun to shoot...I hope to get better at it and maybe go to a local track or drag strip soon to practice! :o)

This kart had just turned over on the track and the guys raced out to right it. The driver was fine, but did corner a little slower the next time around! :o)

Odd cropping on top and too bad you can't see the people. But the yellow car is great.

If you were able to get this close why didn't you go to the other side?

This has everything a newspaper photo needs - dramatic effect, humour, a good headline. One of my favourites for the challenge. The only problem is the cut off head. 8

Pretty good photo, but the action (the driver averting disaster) is hidden by the hired help. Good headline. Nice job.
