 Sunny day at the lake, first time I have used a polorizer in a long time - like the effect. I find the perspective of the shot more interesting than a straight on view.

Hi from the Critique Club

First impressions are that the shot is done well. There is nothing overtly wrong with it. It has interesting composition and leads the eye well. The tones are nice.

For DPC there is a lacking element in the shot, that's the "wow" that a lot of your lighthouse shots display.

As for meeting challenge I think it lacks in that looking at your profile you don't see a shot like this easily. If you had taken a wide angle shot then yes, it would yell Drake. I am assuming this is a lighthouse.

This shot may have been a candidate for a dramatic B&W processing perhaps?

The ice and snow at the bottom nicely balance the upward angle. (No idea.)

ok, I'm going to say Drake or maybe Ken or maybe Drake this is sooo hard...I've looked and looked for Red Square Lighthouses, Square Lighthouses, Red Lighthouse and I can't find one that matches this...It might be Big Red in Holland, MI...but I don't really think so...ok..I could go on and on...driving me nuts you are
